A day when you know what to eat to look and feel your best.

A day when you get up in the morning and your first outfit looks (and feels!) great, and you’re out the door.  No need to change three more times because things aren’t quite ‘laying’ right.

A day when you’re genuinely excited to book that beach vacation with your family and stop worrying about how your stomach looks when you’re doing anything but laying flat in a beach chair.

A day when you feel in control of your food choices and working out feels like second nature.

A day when you're getting the results you want and don't feel like you're giving up everything in the process.

But, that seems out of reach...

You're confused by all the conflicting advice out there and wonder how people even have time for all of it.

You have a life outside of food and fitness.

You find yourself in a vicious cycle of all or nothing — feast or famine.

You’re tired of starting and restarting.

And most of all, you’re tired of constantly worrying about every. little. thing. you put in your mouth.

I’ve been there.  In fact, I spent a lot of years there.

I spent a good portion of my life ‘on a diet’ and unhappy with my body.  Even after losing a significant amount of weight, being lean by anybody else’s standards and completing a certification in nutrition, I was still stressing over food.

Low carb, paleo, elimination diets, cleanses, gut healing protocols, etc.… I’ve experimented with a good portion of them.

But deep down, it all seemed too extreme and complicated. Counter to everything I was reading and listening to, my gut told me there had to be a simpler way.

Thankfully, there is.

You don’t need a bunch or rules or to follow a particular dietary philosophy to get results.

You don’t have to eat as little as humanly possible or cut out entire food groups.

You don’t have to eat ‘perfectly’ 100% of the time.

You don’t have to kill yourself at the gym, day in and day out.

And you certainly don’t have to do a complete overhaul on your diet and life, all at once.

The majority of your results come from doing a few things well, and with consistency.

things like:

  • Eating a diet of real, whole, minimally processed foods - most of the time;

  • Tuning into your hunger and satiety queues to eat what you need — no more, no less; and

  • Moving your body.

Easy enough, right?! So why is it such a struggle?

One word — HABITS.

The harmful ones you need to break and the helpful ones you need to start.

Lasting results take long-term behavior change.

It takes:

  • recognizing what needs to change;

  • a deep-seeded motivation to change;

  • knowledge of how to change;

  • actually doing IT; and

  • the ongoing reinforcement to keep doing IT, until IT feels like second nature.

And all of that goes a heck-of-a-lot more smoothly when you’re calling the shots, rather than being told what to do by some expert.

Because you’re the expert on YOU.

Everybody is different and every body is different.  You’re unique.  It’s your body, your cells, your genes, your thoughts, your beliefs, your relationships, your schedule, your habits, your hang-ups, your strengths, etc.

The solution isn’t a one-size fits all.  The solution is leveraging the relevant advice and evidence as a jumping off point —  exploring what works for you and finding your own version of healthy. The journey’s longer than a four week juice cleanse, but the reward is actually getting to your destination and going further than you even imagined.

Be wary of promises to show you THE way.

I’d love to help you find YOUR way.

In your private coaching program, we’ll work together so you can:

  • Get clear on what healthy means to you and figure out where it fits among your gazillion competing priorities.

  • Cut through the food confusion and learn what and how much to eat for your unique needs and goals.

  • Prepare delicious, satisfying meals that you actually enjoy without spending all day in the kitchen.

  • Get moving and keep moving, no matter what shape you’re in now.

  • Build healthy routines and habits, one step at a time, to reach and sustain your goals, even when life gets busy.

How it Works

Step 1: The Strategy Session

We’ll start by getting to know one another, exploring your goals and understanding where you’re currently at.

We’ll talk about things like: what you’re looking to accomplish during our time together, your current eating habits, activity level, and other lifestyle factors. As well as what’s worked well for you (and what hasn’t) in the past.

Step 2: The Action Plan

Using information from the strategy session, I’ll go away and begin to map out how to get you from where you’re at to where you want to be. I’ll focus on identifying the skills and behaviors we need to focus on during our coaching sessions and we’ll come back together to break them down into daily habits and figure out where to focus first.

Step 3: Working the Plan

We’ll systematically work through the plan, focusing on one action at a time and adjusting as needed. We’ll make sure you’re ready for each action you tackle so that you’re set-up for success. We’ll leverage what’s already working for you and work through blocks and challenges as they come up.

Step 4: Monitoring Progress

It’s difficult to improve what we don’t track. We’ll work together to come up with a simple system for tracking progress towards your daily habits and overall goals. We’ll review progress during our regular check-ins and use this data to inform the plan moving forward. Once you’ve mastered a habit and are doing it consistently, we’ll move on to the next one.

Rinse and repeat

What it includes...

  • 1 x 90 min Strategy Session to explore your goals and get to know YOU.

  • A customized action plan unique to your lifestyle, preferences and goals.

  • Weekly coaching sessions to check-in on your progress, celebrate your successes, overcome challenges and make adjustments to your plan.

  • A personal playbook where you’ll keep track of your go-to foods, portions, workouts, and systems to support your healthy habits, for easy reference down the road. Think of it as your personal instruction manual for your healthy lifestyle.

  • Unlimited e-mail support for quick questions between sessions.

  • Tools and resources to help you build your health promoting skills and implement your daily habits.
